Former guest studs

These are our former 'guest studs'. These males were born in our cattery and sold to families as their pets, with the agreement to let them do a few matings. These males are primarily pets and are fully part of family life. They have sired a few litters and are enjoying their retirement now. If you are interested in keeping one of our kittens as a future guest male, please feel free to contact us.

Niyo-8m-7.jpg

Niyo

Born 4 April 2023

Neutered 2 July 2026

Niyo lives together with his brother Yoshi at Lilla and Frank's in Zoetermeer. They come from the Japanese artists litter. Their parents are Copper and Miko. We are very grateful to Lilla and Frank, as well as to Johan and Almar, that Niyo and his brother Yoshi have had a couple of dates.

Only 1 daughter of Niyo is being used in breeding to continue his line: Torvi of Macadamia.

Niyo has been tested N/N for HD and PL. His heart and kidneys are normal. He has had two heart ultrasounds. Through his (grand)parents he is N/N for HCM1, SMA, and Pk-def, and cleared for blood group.

He is a black silver tabby blotched with white. He carries 1 copy of silver and white spotting. He carries no dilution, but he does carry solid.

Niyo is a calm, confident tomcat with a very strong bond with his owner. He is all about deep connections.

He has an impressive size and is very sturdily built. He also has a good, broad muzzle.

See also the information about his background, under his brother Niyo.

Yoshi has been tested N/N for HD and PL. His heart and kidneys are normal. He has had two heart ultrasounds. Through his (grand)parents he is N/N for HCM1, SMA, and Pk-def, and cleared for blood group.

He is a black silver tabby blotched bicolour. He carries 1 copy of silver and 2 copies of white spotting, and carries no dilution. He is likely homozygous agouti.

Yoshi is a playful clown, with a fun, outgoing character. He is everyone's friend.
Yoshi is a slightly smaller build, but has a normal size for a low-inbreeding tomcat. His head is beautifully balanced, with lovely, well-shaped eyes, well-placed ears, and a fairly good profile. He has a gorgeous blotched pattern, which he also passes on well.

Yoshi and Niyo have a low total inbreeding coefficient of 8.98%. Clones are at 24.8% and top 5 at 61.6%.
