Maine Coon Cattery Macadamia

Arya is a dream come true in many ways. We have been searching for a beautiful American bloodline for three years, and with Arya, that dream has finally come true! She comes from stunning exclusive lines and has an affectionate personality to adore. On top of that, she is a red tabby, a new color within our cattery, which feels like the cherry on top. She was born on October 21, 2024, in Oklahoma, United States.

Breed Characteristics & Purpose

Due to her show-line background, Arya has a more distinct type than my other cats, which also results in a higher inbreeding coefficient (though still below the breed average). With her strong yet balanced appearance and her uncomplicated nature, we hope to incorporate her qualities into our breeding program to achieve a healthy balance between health, temperament, and looks in the future.

Personality

Arya is a very gentle and affectionate cat who loves cuddling and sitting on laps. She is easygoing and effortless to handle. With other cats, she is highly social and outgoing. She enjoys playing and loves lying close to her feline companions.

Origins

Arya comes from Oklahoma, North America, from the Tufts 'n Trills cattery. She is descended from beautiful (mostly) American show lines from highly renowned catteries. Her parents and most ancestors have been tested for HD and HCM via ultrasound and DNA. Arya brings fresh bloodlines to Europe that are scarcely seen here.

In the weekend of November 1–2, 2025, we took Arya to the Cats & Tulips TICA show in Asperen. Arya achieved 4 finals in the MCO/MCP male & female congresses. As a result, she is now entitled to carry the title of Champion.
